Candidates don't need explicit community management experience, but should have a track record of clear and effective communication. Qualifications

We are looking for a very strong, seasoned & enthusiastic consultant to add full time to a stellar team.

You will need a broad technological background with a focus on Java Web technologies, and like to work as a Subject Matter Expert. Experience as a consultant – preferably in the area of Web Content Management – is expected.
Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

* Help potential clients during the initial product evaluation
* Advise customers how to successfully implement their Magnolia project
* Suggest development, integration and deployment approaches for specific requirements
* Hold workshops for clients
* Manage prototyping solutions
* Provide expert know-how on Magnolia deployment and system architecture, including backup strategies,
load-balancing, failover, security, multi-sites and general hosting configuration
* Travel to the client’s location to provide the above services on-site.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a good blend of skills in both applications and infrastructure areas.

* A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. A Master's is preferred.
* The right candidate will have 6 or more years of experience in software development companies building or
managing the development of a complex, commercial, enterprise class product. Experience with SAAS model, Web
Services, etc. is a big plus.
* Proven skills in using object-oriented approaches based on Java. EJB, Servlets, HTML and Javascript based UI.
* Has experience in as many operating systems, application servers, databases and related products as possible
(e.g. Unix, Solaris, OSX, Windows; Websphere, Weblogic, Glassfish, Tomcat, JBoss; Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server etc.)
* At least one significant stint in a mature engineering organization building packaged products at leading

cycles very desirable.
* Excellent technical, problem solving, and communications skills.
* Must be a great team player and a highly motivated self-starter.
* Experience in Internet technologies: HTTP, HTML, XML, web server, server-side Java and Databases.
